in every region of the globe where ancient man has dwelt. These archealogical discoveries have usually been very precisely sculpted, one chip at a time, into some of the world's most beautiful miniature stoneworks.

Ezekiel 3:9 As an adament harder than flint have I made thy forehead: fear them not, neither be dismayed at their looks, though they be a rebellious house.
Amerindians across this nation were masters of this skill and fashioned flint into tools, weapons and ornaments. Each of the artifacts created was uniquely the same while remaining perfectly different. A war point is a war point. An axe is an axe.
The sameness of the work was in raw materials, uses and the chipping techniques of the times. The differences were found "by" the hands of the artisans who sculpted the pieces into reality. Flaws within the rock became finished highlights through the skills of the one who fashioned it.
Time allows for advances in technologies as the old gives way to the new. Eventually, the ways of the forefathers begin to be forgotten, ignored and replaced by the new ways of the sons. The tedious and time-consuming skills of chipping flint gave way to simpler methods of producing needed items.
In the same way, people, do not become Christians, until they are born-again in the hands of THE Master. He creates us brand new spiritually one chip at a time. Each of us is perfectly different from one another while remaining uniquely the same. In His hands we each become a needed and treasured masterpiece fit for the Masters' use. Even our flaws become the mark of our beauty in the Creators skilled hands.
One of the God-given parental responsibilities is to sculpt the perimeters of what is allowed in a child's life but many have been allowed to sculpt themselves. Tedious tasks of discipline, that enabled us to be sculpted, have given way to modern methods of mass sculpting. Public schools replaced the tedious skills of parenting. Children are left to sculpt themselves or to be sculpted by their teachers, friends, movies, music, television and society.
Isaiah 51:1 Hearken to me, ye that follow after righteousness, ye that seek the Lord: Look unto the Rock whence ye are hewn, and to the hole of the pit from whence ye are digged.
In Crawford County Indiana is a cave used by the Native Americans. The name of the cave is the Wyandotte Cave. Approximately a mile away is a stone quarry used as a source for a variety of blue-grey flint called Harrison Flint or Indiana Hornstone. In this Wyandotte Cave is a room where artifacts were chipped. In this chipping station the floor was covered with five to six feet of flint chips laying like a carpet to be walked upon.
Picture yourself a beautiful chunk of flint in the hands of God the Master Sculptor of men. Can you see the chips he has already removed from your life? Then thank Him for the deliverence you have already received and trust Him to complete the work He has started in you.
